South Sands in Salcombe, Devon has 22 bedrooms furnished to the same high standard but as you would expect from a boutique hotel they do vary a little in size and aspect. Given the New England style and our proximity to the sea it will be of no surprise to you that the rooms are named after sailing boats.
Allister Bishop is the Executive Chef at South Sands and brings with him decades of experience having been based in London, working at establishments such as Harrods, Le Meridien and Hilton to name but a few. Allister prides himself in using interesting local ingredients many of which have been foraged in the area. He works closely with the local farms and producers to make sure that the restaurant is getting the best product available.
